Gift cards

Is it easier to have a physical or digital gift card? I was leaning towards physical but with all the online ordering and everything I’m not too sure now.

I vote physical gift card.

Either way. you're going to have to enter the numbers for mobile ordering.

And places that don't do mobile ordering will need the card.

I haven't had any luck putting my gift card on the Disneyland app. Has anyone else run into this?

Physical gift card over egift with Disney.
I am currently having issues trying to get my Disney egift card from their Disney Movie Insider rewards and it is a pain to deal with.

Physical. But keep in mind you can transfer funds from the e-cards to physical cards.

We were there last week and if I didn't mobile order I used my gift card. You do sometimes have to tell the CM because it doesn't seem to work unless they select gift card or something....I would swipe then nothing. Then once I said "Gift card?" they did something and it worked.

You can't put a gift card in the app. You can use it to pay for mobile orders, but you have to enter the number each time. I keep my gift card numbers in a note on my phone and copy and paste it in when I mobile order.

Hmmmm... I figured that might be the case. BUT, I did want to use my gift card to purchase Genie+ and individual lightning lane options if they are available. I sure hope it will let me add it for those and that it won't take so long that I lose them!
