Gift cards

Im state side and have been for 14 yrs, I have friends in Melbourne , who want to bring their kids to Disneyland CA. If they buy gift cards in Australia can they use them in the parks ?

Hi nikkislaght,

If they go to the Disney Store website they can buy the Disney eGift Card (as opposed to the proper physical gift card,) which will be emailed to them in the few hours after they buy it. Sometimes it comes straight away and other times I’ve waited for up to 24 hrs.
I’ve been buying one each week or so for a few months now as a way of locking in the exchange rate.

And I forgot to add...

If they buy multiple eGift Cards, they can now be combined into one eGift Card number on the seperate Disney Gift Cards website under the ‘Manage My Cards’ function.

I have been wondering about gift cards too, I see a lot of mentions of the discounts on target etc for those in the US- is this something we are able to do in Aust? TIA!
