Gift Cards Shipped to Resort?

Hi everyone! I have a quick question about Disney Gift Cards. I live in Canada and am unable to have Disney Gift Cards shipped to me. Is it possible to order the cards online (www.disneyshopping.com) and have them shipped to my resort? How far in advance would I have to order them to ensure they would be delivered in time? We are traveling to WDW in about 30 days. Thanks for any advice/information!!

It took me six days from the day I ordered to my Disney gift card being in my mailbox from Target. Just make sure you put what hotel it's being shipped to in the address line. It may also help to put your reservation number so the hotel can make sure it gets to you.

I guess that's one of the things that worries me. I don't want to be out a large sum of money if they don't arrive. It would be a lot more convenient to have the gift cards instead of cash.

If you're staying onsite you can just charge everything back to the room. Otherwise, use a credit card.

We used some gift cards last year. I doubt we'll do it again. It was really more of a pain than using a credit card.

Thanks! We normally use credit cards too, but figured the gift cards may be easier, and my daughter could have her own "card".

Just buy one for your daughter and have it shipped to the resort. If something does go wrong, you won't be out an enormous amount of money.

No need to buy one ahead of time. They sell them in all of the gift shops on property.
