My son's school offers a scrip program, and one of the gift cards they sell is Disney. Can I pay for a vacation package with more than 1 Disney gift card? They offer them in 25, 100, and 1,000 dollar increments, and our vacation will be over 3,000 (including air).

Also, if I book a flight through Disney, do I have to pay with my credit card, or can I pay with a Disney gift card?

I have paid for my resort stays with scrip before. I have done it online though. I did try to put scrip down against my room charges but had to do that at the end of my stay..they wouldn't let me use it when I checked in.

I can not answer the question about the flight but you can certainly pay with more than one gift card.

I paid for my vacation with 16 scrip disney cards. The CM on the phone was very patient

LOL!!! Good thing the CM was patient! I'm cracking up over here.

I know that I'll give each of the boys a $100 gc for their special souvenirs for the week (they're young). I'm excited that we can help our school while we're enjoying our vacation!

Okay, sorry for the silly question, but what exactly is this scrip program you're talking about?

Scrips is a fundraising activity where your organization buys gift cards from a company at a discount and sells them at face value. The discount varies from one place to another, for example, at my son's school, Kroger gives a 4%discount, while Barleycorn's gives 10%. There are cards from various catagories, such as restaurants, department stores, gas stations, etc.
