Which is preferable to give Palo servers over-and-above the mandatory $10.00 per person ... extra tip written on tab, cash, or a gift card? If I understand correctly, the server would have to "share" the first two options with other servers, but would not have to share a gift card. I like the idea of the extra all going to my personal server. On the other hand, if the system is to "share," maybe that is the fair route.

Cash..above and beyond. Always cash so your server can do with it as he pleases..not be forced to use it wherever you purchase a gift card from, as they may not even have access to the store. Cash, cash cash.

The $10 is not the tip..be prepared to leave a bit of cash..the meal is excellent.

Your Palo server only shares the mandatory $10 fee per person. Anything extra in cash or written in on your check is kept by the server who served you.

I think that you might be confused with the CMs in the kid's clubs. They have to put any gifts into the group pool.

Thank you all for your responses. I was confused and now glad to know anything about the mandatory $10 per person will go entirely to our personal server. Cash it will be!
