Are we able to use gift cards purchased at a Cdn Disney store, on site ?
How does the exchange work if so ?

Those only work at the Canadian Disney stores. You cannot use them anywhere in the US (parks or stores)

I redeemed Scotia points for Disney gift cards and gave them to my T/A towards my trip. They went in as USD! !
