Has anybody got the email where you buy a gift card for a certain amount and are given a bonus. ex. buy a $500 gift card and you get a bonus of $250.

They usually come in emails. I think they come a couple weeks before your vacation.

If it's a regular disney gift card, you can use it for food. We used ours from the 4/3 deal + GC 2 yrs ago on food. Great deal!!!

Last year they were doing this as a PIN code. It wasn't for a Gift Card, it was a Merchandise Credit meaning it couldn't be used for food and couldn't be used at non-Disney owned locations (meaning no pick-a-pearl or build-a-dino). I haven't heard of it being done this year.

I remember reading on here about people recieveing such a deal and I sure wish they would send it out again and I would get one.

Anyone know if something triggered the sending of the promo, like with pins for discounts.............like I am wondering if you go and buy a few gift cards say $50 would your chances of recieveing such a promo for a larger denomination gc +bonus amount
