Can Disney gift cards be used to purchase

1) disney dining plan

2) MVMCP tickets

3) hot air balloon rides

4) golf tee times on WDW property

5) rental on golf clubs

6) spa treatments

7) Bibbity Bobbity Boutique

8)meals


All of these would be at WDW properties. Either DTD, resorts, or parks.

I,m planning on using this as a way to save the money specifically for these things. I figure if I buy it in the amount it will cost me (or as close to as possible) it will be a good way to ensure we do all these things. Plus I figure it will be cute to, for example, give DS a GC for the amount it will cost him to go golfing with a picture of the golf course, etc.

I don't know the golf Q's but I'll tell you what I do know:

1) disney dining plan -- Yes, but only if you purchase it at least 72 hours before your trip

2) MVMCP tickets -- Yep

3) hot air balloon rides -- Characters in Flight? I'm not sure

6) spa treatments-- I don't think so because they're owned by a separate company, Nikki Bryan spas if I recall. They do sell their own gift certificates, though. (There's even a .pdf coupon on the website!)

7) Bibbity Bobbity Boutique-- I'm pretty sure you can

8)meals-- Yes, definitely. There might be a few exclusions, but I'm not sure where.

I would suspect "yes" on the golf tee times/equipment rental as the courses are owned and operated by Disney (and they would already have the POS equipment to accept Disney Gift Cards).

As for meals, the only places GCs would not be accpeted at are obviously "cash only" facilities, such as food carts.

I have a couple of Disney cards to use too. Hoping we can use them for most meals! I'll keep an eye on your thread!

The only meals I know of that you can't use the gift card for is anything not owned by disney in DTD (such as t-rex) and any cash only food cart.

8)meals Yes, anywhere except food carts and a few of the Epcot WS places. Even at DTD most places take it.

A little OT but if you are staying onsite-golf club rentals are free with regular greens fees. You can use a GC for golf at Disney.
