Gift Card deals?

Any grocery stores,restaurants or clothing stores offering bonus money on gift cards? I saw a few last year but didn't need them then.

There was a thread on here a day or two ago, saying that Sam's Club had Disney gift cards for $98something -- and they were giving you a $10 Disney Store gift card (free) as part of the deal.

I asked this same question on another forum. Applebee's usually does the buy $100 get $20 (not sure if it started yet) Borders, and Outback have the same deal. If you buy your gift cards from Kroger I believe it was 10 cents off per gallon of gas for every $50 you spend. many grocery stores with gas stations have deals similar to that. DSW shoes has buy $50 get extra $10. Sam's club offers a variety of gc for a few dollers off.
I hope people keep adding to the list-I need about $200 in gc and am all for saving some$$$

If you have a citi card you can sign up for the citi extra cash program. Its is in additional to any rewards program you already have with your citi card. When you join they give you one hundred extra cash points and you get another fifty for finishing your profile. Then they give you ten per cent of all your citi card purchasses every month. You can use those points to buy discounted gift cards from a number of places from rainforest cafe, t-rex and yak and yeti to macys, boscovs and marshalls. You cant use the points to completely pay for the gift cards. Its more like a ten percent discount. You have to pay the remainder with your linked citi card. But I ordered applebees and papa johns gift cards from them for the kids. two twenty five dollar gift cards for forty five dollars. One hundred dollar gift cards are ninety dollars. I plan to order some of the department store gift cards to use for buying gifts this Christmas. Its an instant ten percent discount on top of any great sale prices I can find. I just wish that they had target cards.

Panda Express - buy $25 in gift cards, get a free 2 entree meal. I usually buy the Chick fil a deal - buy $20 in gift cards, get a free calendar, but they aren't doing that one this year. I am always looking for a good deal for buying our teacher's gift cards for Christmas presents.

If anyone knows of a good promotion for gift cards at Regal Cinemas, I would love to hear about it. I have a teenage nephew that loves going to the movies and this is going to be one of his gifts.

$5 off the purchase of any restaurant gift card valued at $25 or more...


I bought 5 $25 red lobster gift cards in one transaction and they rang up $20 each. They had applebees, chilis, red lobster, coldstone creamery, and a few others. I stuck with the $25 ones and not the $50 ones, better deal.

Groupon has been offering deals for 4 tickets for $20 or $30, which you redeem through Fandango so can be used at any theater.

CVS will give five extra bucks for every twenty five dollar itunes card (limit 2). Walgreens will be offering a free card holder tin with any gift card. Both offers begin on 11/14. I might buy a couple walgreens cards for myself just to get the gift tins. And then get the itunes cards at cvs. I can always use the extra bucks somehow.

Thanks for your post!! Got my mom done!!! I picked up 4 $25 gift cards for various restaurants for $80. She is in her eighties and doesn't need or want anything. I figure we can make a date once a month to go out to dinner.

Picked up a couple for my kids also. They had subway and olive garden at my TRU also.
