After weighing up the idea of doing the Mickey's Grand Welcome I just couldn't see a value in it for us. So, having a browse I found this website :

It is run by a diser which is always a good thing and she has been super helpful with me. I mean excellent.

It is good value too - she buys whatever you want at Downtown Disney and charges $25 plus tax to make up and deliver a basket to your resort.

The website is nice and it is even fun to just browse through the products. I am really looking forward to seeing the basket and will post a photo when we get back!

Yes I liked the look of that site too but once I heard back from Peggy so quickly I was always going to go with her. I am so excited about it!

the website you say sounds good and it is a dis-er.

We used memoriesbybetsy in 2007 and the baskets were beautiful, very reasonalbe and even better she emails pics to check you are happy with them.

If anyone is looking for something similar I've also used memoriesbybetsy several times in the past, she charges $28 for the first basket and $10 for additional baskets and doesn't charge an additional fee on merchandise, she will also buy items from outside Disney. She's very reliable and the baskets are really nice and look great.

Memories by Betsy gets great reviews on here! I have never used the service but have used the Disney florist. We are getting Mickeys grand welcome for the kids next trip it does seem a lot for what you get but I can't wait to see their little faces!

Yes I feel that too! I was really tempted but mickeys grand welcome didn't really have much that my dd would need. With my gift basket I have been able to pick exactly what she would love. Hope your kids enjoy their surprise and don't forget your picture!!

I would like more choice for mickeys grand welcome though the Disney florist has suggested I can change the large Minnie and Mickey for various smaller plush as my kids already have these. I will post pics, I hope you dd likes her basket, my kids still talk about previous ones they received and they were so young I am surprised they can remember
