Hi!
I am trying to gather some information and hope that you can provide some help from your experiences.

I want to send a goodie/gift/welcome basket to my children and to my parents for our upcoming WDW vacation. The three companies that I have heard about are Fairygodmother gifts, Gifts of a Lifetime and Disney Florist. Has anyone used any of these vendors and what were your experiences with them? If you don't mind, what types of items were in your baskets? Were you satisfied? I am looking for snacks and a few Disney items. Are there any other vendors that I should be considering?

Any information you can provide will be appreciated.
Thank you-
Lynn

I ordered a gift basket from www.giftsofalifetime.com for DS5 birthday.
Gifts did a "Buzz Lightyear" themed basket with a happy birthday balloon attached. I looked at their premade baskets on the website, but wanted something more custom. No problem! I called and went over the items included, they had some great suggestions. The basket was a mix of snacks and disney items.
Included were Disney pretzels, juice box, various small toys from WDW that were buzz themed (I cannot really remember......sorry!)
He really enjoyed it, and it was a nice surprise (even though the hotel messed up and delivered too early.....Gifts had a note on it with explicit instructions - oh well!)
The first time we went to WDW I ordered the "I'm going to Disney" kit from Gifts, with pressed penny books, epcot passport, fat pens, autograph books, lan yards and pins, so they were all set when we arrived. This might be an idea for your basket.
I've used Gifts several times, and they are great to work with, I would highly recommend them.

We used the Disney Florist while we were there in July. We ordered a basket that included a disposable camera, mouse ears, cookies, pretzels, autograph book, pen and a small photo album. I don't remember the exact price but I think it was around $45.00. It came in a very nice basket shaped like Mickey's head. I don't recall how much it would have cost to buy all the items separately. We had it delievered the night we arrived; so we had it for our first day out in the parks. Our DD loved it as did our niece. That is what really mattered to us.

We also used Disney Florist and our basket was in our room when we checked in. DD was so excited! You can customize the contents specifically for your family. It was beautifully packaged with balloons, etc. What a treat to see it waiting for you on arrival! Check out www.disneyflorist.com.

Thank you for your replies. I have gotten a lot of feedback on this and other boards and have decided to use the Disney florist. Your input has been appreciated.
