Gift Basket Questions

I'd like to order a gift basket for the stateroom for my DD from Shirley and have a few questions.

1. How far in advance should I order it?

2. Is a deposit required? How much?

3. When is final payment due?

Give Shirley a call. She'd be the best to advise you. I don't think that you are charged until the basket is prepared, but I am not sure.

I just spoke to Shirley today, and she said to call about two weeks before your cruise. She is a wonderful person, and if you give her a call, she can tell you everything you need to know.

On a side note, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Frances turns and misses the coast. Right now, they have it projected for the East coast of Florida and on up.

Thought I would give some insight to The Perfect Gift - first it is best to call 2 to 3 weeks before you cruise especially if you are sending items down to me to include in your gift baskets - I still am there if at the last moment you need something, but try to call the day before and not the day of tho I have made some last minute gift baskets and Norm hasn't minded going back to the ship - Charges are not made until the baskets are made which is one to two days before - I have sometimes waited until after the baskets were delivered - there is no deposits - I will work with your budget and will try to direct you what is most suitable for the receiver - I can not always get the items requested even tho I do try very hard to do so - nope I don't charge extra for the shopping - sometimes the requests are out of the question -

Just thought I would add my comments about Shirley.

Just spoke with her this morning to confirm my rather large order.

12 of us in total..

What a sweetheart she was in every way possible. She tries her

best to help you save as well. We are sailing on Sept 18, 2004,

and she was extremely helpful.

As I told you Shirley we are keeping everyone in the hurricane's p

path in our thoughts and prayers.

Sherry - you was a pleasure as well - I saw your screenname and it brought a lot of memories back to me - this is what my children called me when they were very young and my one son still calls me that as a "I love you mom extra today" every so often when he calls me.
Thanks for the prayers on Francis - we will know more in the next few days what the plans are -

We just came back from the 8/21 Magic and had baskets made by Shirly. She put the items in vinyl Mickey and MInnie bags(one for each my DS and DD). The kids loved to see them sitting on the bed when we came in the room!
