Do you still buy more stuff in the parks? When we just went that was half the fun- the kids getting to shop for their special souveneirs. (sp?) Do you buy all that AND more?

I know I am planning to let my kids pick out a few things in the parks. We haven't been able to take a vacation for over 2 years (the last at my parents' expense) and none of us have every stayed on site. I want to make this really special so I do plan to splurge a little on my kids. They won't get everything they see and want and they won't get something everyday or at every park, but I do plan to let them pick some things out on their own. They will each be getting a plush and ears from Sarah and the rest will be food treats! Maybe resort mugs too, but those sound like a necessesity, right?

well for us this is our first trip and we wont be returning for at least 4 or 6 years - we have far too many other places to see and do as well to visit every year or so.

so, yes we get alot in the basket and we'll also get a load in the WDW shops too - we have no Disney stuff available in the countries we live in so this is rather a special case.

for about $60 you can get a nice basket. It just all depends on what you want in it. I have seen gift baskets go as high as $350.00.

In our case, the basket contains things we would be getting anyway. We have mickey ears, resort mugs and a couple of pirate treats. Since mugs and ears would be bought this time anyhow, no big deal to add treats IMO.

We usually get two... one for each of us... they are the size of regular travel mugs.

Everything in the basket I would have bought anyway... so we will definatly still be shopping...I am a shopaholic!! I am as excited for the shopping in Disney as being in Disney!!

I just ordered 3 baskets for my son, niece and Goddaughter. The total was under $200. But I put in things they could use on the trip.

disposable cameras
Refillable mugs
sun visors
mist pocket fans
autograph books and lots and lots of snacks

Sarah was really great to work with and the baskets are really cute. As far as souvenirs...they will get one for under $20 at each park we visit. I was on a budget and she helped by giving me alternatives if something I asked for didn't fit into my price range. I highly recommend her. Sorry don't know how to upload the pictures.

Can someone tell me when payment is due for Sarah's baskets? Do you tell her what you want and then she sends you a picture before you pay? Thanks!

It worked this way for me. I sent her a list of items I wanted included in the basket, she told me if she could get them or not. Then once we finalized the contents of the baskets and the price I sent the money order. She told me when she received it and the next day she emailed me a picture of the baskets. Payment is due as soon as you give her the okay to make the basket. Very simple...the hard part is deciding on what to put in

Each of my baskets are themed- Pooh, Goofy and Minnie.
