Giant Reese's Cups?!?!

i saw them the other day at the navy exchange.. we saw them and laughed.. thinking who in the world would want that. we are not big sugar people..
apparently you guys want them !! LOL

they just make my teeth hurt thinking about them

For me, the chocolate/peanut butter ratio is off, anyone else? Too much PB for me!

Ah, a fellow Reese buttercup connoisseur... ;)
I have not tried the giant ones, but I feel the chocolate/peanut butter ratio is off in the Christmas trees so I have avoided deviating from the norm ever since.

I can eat peanut butter by itself so no way is the ratio off for me. I really don't need these but I sure want one....

The nicest compliment I've had all year! LOL!

These are AMAZING cookies!

2 bags Reese's miniature peanut butter cups with papers removed
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream peanut butter, butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Roll into 1-inch balls and place in miniature muffin tins with or without papers. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
When tins are removed from oven, immediately press 1 peanut butter cup into the center of the cookie. Allow to cool completely before removing cookies from the tin. Makes 4 dozen cookies.

Is this the same recipe off the back of the bag? I literally JUST saw this tonight and was planning on trying them this week! :hippie:
I got 2 bags with Target coupons last week! Yum!

But give me a bag of the individually wrapped tiny ones??? :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

I TOTALLY AGREE! I love the small Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. They just have the perfect PB/chocolate ratio. Even the regular are not nearly as good. Not to hijack or anything, but has anyone else noticed that the regular seem off? I bought a bag on clearance right after Halloween. They just don't taste right - kind of like the chocolate is too waxy. Not good.

Not sure! It makes a very soft dough due to the butters/flour ratio.

I make them every year for people. I dont use butter. I am though doing alot of experiments with them and some are so delicous.

Just when I think that my Christmas shopping is over, I learn about Giant Reese's. Tomorrow I will be at CVS asking if they have any in stock or plan to get any in stock. I find that CVS is the best bet for that hard-to-find stuff

I got the last one at my Target a month ago....they went fast. I also got a 1lb Hershey Bar. Oh and for those Reese lovers that just hate unwrapping them, Walmart had these new ones out tonight that have no wrappers!!!! They had Hershey's and Reese's. The Hershey's were called Hershey's drops and the Reese's were just called Reese's Minis. They are dime sized little Reese's without that black cupcake liner :)

Found them at CVS - they had a lot of them at the CVS I went to. There are 2 half-pound candies in the package and I would estimate they are each the size of one of those single-serve Table Talk pies.

OH...MY...LORRRRRDDDDD :faint: :faint: :faint: Please don't tell me that kind of info!!!!!!! Even though I am sitting here in my nightshirt, I feel compelled to RUN to Walmart (that's 25 minutes away) and find me some of these. That bag and a glass of milk is my idea of pure happiness!!!!

I caved and bought these for my DH today. I would have never seen them, I never go to CVS (I'm a Walgreen's fan) but stopped in today ust to peek and wound up with them. He's going to love them!
