Giant foods/martins foods 4x gas points

This is the rumor going around, that the store will have 4x gas points on gift cards week of thanksgiving. So if I buy $1000 in disney gift cards I could save up to $240 in gas. That is 24% off, sounds like a deal to me. I just hope it is on all gift cards.
