Ghosts?

This place seems to be filled with "ghost writers" lately. Come on folks! This is supposed to be a board to help folks out who are honestly interested in DVC. KNOCK IT OFF! To quote a familiar Disney film...If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!

Just curious, how can you tell the difference between the ghosts and people like me who are new?

This might be a good time to remind everyone about a few of the DIS features:

1. IGNORE feature. Use this feature if you'd rather not see any posts by a particular poster. Click on the "User CP" feature on the tool bar near the top of the page. Then click on the link in the left column for "Buddy/Ignore lists". The instructions from there are self-explanatory.

2. REPORT BAD POST feature. If you believe someone is violating any of the DIS Board posting rules, click on the triangle icon. You will find it under the poster's name & avatar. The mods will look at the post and take appropriate action as necessary.

3. DO NOT REPLY / BUMPING feature. Do not reply to any post that you want to see die a natural death. Every reply bumps the post to the top of the forum and gives it new life. If no one replies to the trolls, ghosts, and etc., they will soon tire of us and go away on their own.

I'm going to close this thread so that it won't become what it's trying to prevent!
