YOu should put a tape recorder on while she blesses the house and see if you get any evp's. DEFINATELY DO IT if you have one. I bet you get something. If whatever it is is riled up who knows what might come out.

OH and by the way everyone PLEASE try to come up with some good stories b/c the political threads are killing me. I need to switch from my sarcastic/nasty mode to my ghost hunter mode.

TOMORROW!!! I hope it will get more than a 7 ghost rating. Has anyone ever seen a 10 ghost rating? I guess IF I were going to give one it would be LUllaby Lane.

Ugh..political threads. I think this is by the far the worst I have seen it in all my years on here. Yesterday at one point I counted 15 political threads on the first page and 7 of them were about Palin (and 4 of them were the same topic). I stay away from them for the most part, but sometimes the title catches my eye and I have to read. Then I spend lots of time deleting my posts before I send them.

my 10 ghost show? I forget where they were but it was where they had the thermal image of the man that looked like he was wearing a Civil War hat and they could see the number on the locker right though the image. That on totally freaked me out. The Lighthouse one was another 10 ghost show for me.

I think that you guys are talking about the episode at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. It was originally a hotel (and is now) but was used for a while by a sadistic doctor for convalescing patients. Let's just say that many didn't convalesce.

We stayed there and did the ghost tour and I've seen the locker. It is NOT shiny.

I thought the Eureka Springs episode was a winner too. Later on, they visited a psychic and the thermal cam went all crazy with these psychedelic rainbow waves coming off Jay while Grant was trying to not let on that it was getting weird! Very cool!

Planogirl! I have been to ES but don't remember seeing the hotel. So cool you got to do a ghost tour. I would never actually do one IRL because I am a big fat weenie. Forget "Dude Run!" I would be so scared that I wouldn't be able to speak!

There is an old slave house nearby that is now closed to visitors, but it is listed on some website somewhere as an extremely haunted location. No one has ever spent the night there, though many have tried. The man who owned the house was extremely cruel to his slaves (I know, slavery is cruel by itself, but he employed chains and made it worse.) He treated his slaves as if they were disposable and would work them til they died then just go get more. I guess at night there are lights where there is no electricity and people have heard screams and chains rattling. Very very scary.

Tonight's the night! A new episode of GH!

Right now I am watching Destination Truth(Sci-fi is having a mini-marathon because a new episode is on tonight after GH). The guy (Josh Gates) who does the show is hysterical! He's not to bad to look at either! If I remember correctly he was a guest investigator on either GH or GHI. Not sure which it was.

Josh Gates hosted the Halloween episode at the old sanatorium and the 'best of' episode.

I was wondering if someone remembers that best of show. There was one that they said was the best that showed a figure moving behind a pool table from side to side. It didn't look real to me, but I never have seen the actual episode that caught it. Anyone?

We really like Destination Truth, but it does seem like they zoom through the places without spending any real time to find the creatures. DH is a sucker for all things Bigfoot, and he has done a few episodes of that.

I completely panicked because they cut in with an MSNBC commercial re: the convention tonight and I thought it was pre-empting GH! Talk about frightening! LOL. Enjoy all -- looks like it could be a good one!

I'm going for one more ghost..up to 9..but that is because it is a place I know. Drove by it many times going to my best friends house just a block away. She lived there for about 10 years after she got married. I sure didn't put Iron Island together with my area until I saw they were going to Buffalo, then I remembered that people called that area the iron island cause it's surrounded with railroad tracks. It's more an old timers phrase though. It's actually the east side of Buffalo on the Cheekowaga border. I grew up in Cheektowaga and lived maybe 10 minutes by car from there.

I give it eight ghosts too. It was a good, intense episode and it's great to have the guys back on TV!

Did anyone watch the Destination Truth premier too? They investigated a haunted abandoned mosque and it was VERY creepy.

GH never lets me down! You know when Grant is freaked by something, it is a good episode! I agree. 8 ghosts!

And Destination Truth was very interesting. They did a Yowie investigation in Australia and DH is always up for a little Bigfoot. Or a big Bigfoot. Really. Bigfoot does it for him! Pretty interesting thermals. And the mosque seemed to have something going on, but they didn't really catch much on camera. Just a shadow.
