I personally believe that Jason and Grant believe totally in what they're doing and they are determined to keep the show going even if they have to give in to Sci-Fi. I'm not saying that they're noble but I don't believe that they're fakers either.

There was an episode of a "shadow girl" believed to be haunting this house. This one was debunked by viewers on their own message boards, and Jay and Grant claim they had enough evidence to believe it was a shadow but had to talk to their producers to double check.
After this was put in slow motion and shown with the before picture of Steve sitting on the couch they had no comment. It's little things like this that have me doing this

It seemed the show was credible up until it started doing the text your scares and press the panic button and prove you can do a summersault off a trampoline while videotaping a ghost stuff that shyed me away from it. Don't get me wrong, I still love watching it, but I take it as entertainment only.
Edit: Steve was shown sitting next to a statue, and this "girl" was a statue on a table. That was the big controversey that has still yet to be answered by any of them.
