disney Springs Ghiardellis Water price is ridiculously expensive. $5.25 for 16.9 Oz. Dasani water. World of Disney, right next door $4 for the 20 Oz. Our fault for not paying attention. I even asked after we got it and they said that is the correct bottle. Since it was our first stop we just assumed Disney had raised their prices again. But no Ghiardellis just gouging because they can.

Wawa: sells water for under half the cost of Disney 😜

But the water bottle briefly had a wonderful ice cream smell.
I personally carry a water bottle that has a light filter works for all parks except MK where it removes most of the taste. The water refill stations are filtered however. I drink a lot of water so any fountain is a refill station for me and yes it is cold and stays cold in the bottle I have.

Hey thanks . sorry if I called it price gouging.please consider my post to let just people know that Ghiardellis is charging more for water than the store right next door.
Thanks for the information. In the real world businesses next to each other charge different prices for the same product all of the time. Different places have different cost structures etc. For example a larger company can get greater discounts on goods because of the size of their orders. Cost of rent is different, how they balance their margins etc. can affect how they price the different components of what they are saling. At Disney Springs, look at the price of beer at all of the different venues. You will find prices all over the place, for the exact same can of Budweiser. So saying "overpriced" is very subjective.

I always find it strange when a gas station right next to another has gas that's significantly more expensive. I assume it's some kind of bizarre money laundering scheme...

Yes, thank you. Does not change the fact that they charge $1.25 more for a smaller bottle of water than World of Disney. My post was simply to let people know that Ghiardellis is charging more for less and that an alternative is available next door. But i do appreciate the constructive criticism of my opinion that it is overpriced.

I think ALL bottled water is way over-priced. It has become trendy to drink bottled water instead of getting water from a faucet/fountain/water station for about 1% the price. If you read the fine print, many just say 'filtered tap water'.........LOL. Mark-ups can be all over the map as someone else mentioned. Disney properties tend to be pricey but goes with the territory of running a high rent area.

Agreed! Not to mention all the toxic plastic particles in water bottles!

If you thought the water was expensive, don't look at the rest of the menu. I stopped there last week. I looked at the menu and walked out. The price of the ice cream sundaes was straight up criminal.

I refuse to buy water at Disney. We were just there and had no problem getting free cups of water at CS places. It was always available at every park.
