My school. Totally thrashed. Agian. I mean totally. Broken into, paint thrown all over, boards destroyed, fire extengisers released all over, things stolen...This isnt the first time. A few weeks ago it was totally graffitied and last year it was burnt, many times.

So..Thats my school for you.

Not to mention we have to write reports about Graffiti now to and all our work was destroyed. I mean yeah, the paint did add a nice touch  but everything stunk and its to dangerous for Janiters to clean it up..Soo...What was your day like.?

Wow. Sounds bad. My school is just terrible emotionally, and the fact that our grade (8th) is probably the worst in my school's history. Even the current high schoolers and the little kids are afraid of us. Sounds fun, but it's really not. The boys are stupid and will do anything for a girl to go out with them, and the girls (not me and most of my friends) are the same. They will date any guy only because the guy wants to date them, they start rumors that aren't even true, and start fights with each other about who stole who's 15th boyfriend in a month. Wow, a whole month! That's a record! Sorry to rant, I figure this is a ranting thread, is it not? :)

Now, like Lil_Tink said, how was your day? :teeth:

Yikes! My school is really small and pretty strict so nothing like that ever happens. Of course, that also means everybody's getting into everyone else's business. That can get pretty annoying.

For the last 7 months no clock in our school has worked except in the main offices...hmmm. And to think, our school is fairly new (about four years old). We have six computer labs with about 10 computers in each. From what I know, about 10 in total work. heh. We have an entire school population of 400 students and have to pay for bus passes and parking permits but I still wonder where all that money goes 'cause with poor technology and the cancellation of many classes, obviously it doesn't go to the school!! rofl! We don't have a ski club, talent shows (or any kind of show such as that) no jazz band, less English electives by the year, reducing music electives, no real art clubs, no clubs really. For about two months no bathroom had soap. GROSS! lol. A student wrote a letter to administration and lucky they finally decided to do something about it lol. Due to the lacking of art classes, students have taken to the walls! rofl! (Does not go over well with out vice principal! rofl) No air conditioning or well working heaters. (Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter). Our school just suffered a major pipe burst and three of our computer labs were affected severely. (As well as a few class rooms).

Besides the school itself, the kids in it are another matter! rofl! Tell me if this sounds right...

I was going into the furthest stall in our bathroom (it is the biggest and I had a whole bunch of books with me) A girl behind me asks me in a hyper voice, "Can we please use that one". Okay, key word there..."we". While I was sort of surprised and a little unnerved, I asked "what?" lol. She again repeated herself. I slowly moved aside and said, "Oookkk..." lol, quite frankly I could care less which I use LOL. She then proceeded into the stall and following her was another girl. What I heard next is simply unsuitable for the DIS rofl! Another girl came in after and we both heard what was going on and quickly exchanged looks of complete horror and got the heck out of there! rofl! Later I come to find out that was not the only time those two had been together in the bathroom! lol, apparently the time before it was a little more disturbing. We have some messed up kids at our school and the stories could go on forever! rofl! :rotfl2:

Another time, a student brought in bullets with names on each one. What do you think should have been done about that student? Well... the vice principal suspended him for two days. Some students were afraid that what that kid did was a sign of what was yet to come. So what do the kids do...sit in! rofl! Our school is so pathetic...they all stationed themselves in the main lobby area and refused to move until something more was done with that kid. after 5 minutes the vice principal said he would suspend anyone who stayed there. Well, those 50 students quickly became 10. :rotfl2: The senior class president and vice president were there taking part in the sit-in. They talked with the principal and vice principal. Nothing was concluded of this partaking except the exemption of students from the teachers to participate! rofl, the teachers actually agreed with us and encouraged some to go. Anyway, sure enough, about two weeks later that same kid brought in a gun and was arrested from the school. He is now expelled. (Finally!)

Remember, our school has a student population of LESS than 400 students and just to give an idea, my pre-calc class is filled with a whopping 8 students! rofl. My French class; 10 students lol. My Journalism class; 12 students.

Lol same with us. In all my years of going to my school [3 yrs] maybe 2 months we have had soap. Also, we are one of the hottest school in my state and yet have 2 working water fountains and hardly any AC. Once our pipe burst, I was funny. Everyone was like "Look at how rich out school is, we have our own fountain" luckily next year Im going to a really nice highschool. Its like the nicest in the state. Yay!!

Lolz..Liz maybe thats cause I go to the same school as you

My old high school (I'm homeschooled now) looked like the perfect school from the outside. You know, sorta that one you would see on tv. But the kids!!! @_@ They called me names, pushed me into lockers, threatened me, the whole deal. Once at a football game the police had to pepper spray some people and arrest a few >_o. I was very terrified of the people in the halls. Girls skipped class, Boys got into bloody fights....I'm glad I out of there now....but everyone wants me to go back!!! 0_0. Maybe...but I'll take the drama class this time and make up skits to make fun of them! (They sometimes invite highschool students to watch) MWHAHAHA. Payback. :stir: :teeth: ;)

Geez! No offense, but I'm glad not to be going to some of those schools. Nope, our school has the occasional fights, and recently we've had a "bomb threat" (someone wrote the school was going to blow up on a desk), but that's it.

:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

That would be the best thing ever and the badest thing ever.

Bad part. well.... at some point you wold miss school :guilty:
right.. :rotfl2:

the :cloud9: post

My school is horrible. We have fights almost every week (if not everyday), drug busts, bomb threats and fires (most set in the bathrooms). We even had a gang fight last year. There's about 3 gangs in my school. Officer Palombizio told me about them on my ride-along as well as all the other problems at my school. Yea, there's a reason I like to remain in the dark about most things. It's gotten so bad that my school had to put in security cameras last year and made a rule that if you fight, you're arrested and suspended if not expelled. You can also get ticketed for standing around the scene of a fight. It's only a small portion of the school that's causing all the problems though..

My school is on the verge of a war though: the self-proclaimed "gangstas" vs. everyone else. Everyone I know is sick of being pushed around, even I am. I yelled at a girl in the hall the other day. She was walking with like 4 of her friends all in a row, so there was like no way to get around them. I finally found a break in the crowds so I could get around but she stopped short and I slammed into her and scuffed her shoes (total tragedy). She turns around and starts yelling at me and calling me a b****. So I yelled back saying that maybe if she walked a little faster and didn't block the entire hallway, it wouldn't have happened, so move a little faster next time. I began to walk away and she called me a racist. I was like are you kidding me? So I turned around again and was like I'm not even going to answer to that, and walked away again. I'm not the only person whose done that recently though, I know like 6 other kids who have done the same thing..

I can't wait til I graduate..

Well..Today we went. Yup, still the rooms arent cleaned up.

And, its so annoy. We have to make a boat out of recyclable things right, well all of our bottles are intoxicated and we cant use them :furious:

So my math class was on the grass, Hoku was in PE..Yeah..What sucks even more is only the down stair 8th grade was trashed.

But oh well. No math. :woohoo:

my school isnt too bad except for the occasional "cool" kid who starts an unprovoked fight

our school is poor tho
seriously, the computers arent even windows 95, they still run thru MS-DOS code

same universal gloppy thing that is called lunch
our teachers are really nice though, they urge along the kids who need to apply themselves and we play games after we finish classwork

Your schools sound really different to british ones.

Firstly: The country is split some parts have Primary and secondary schools and the rest have first, middle and high school.
First school: Nursery and Reception(Ages 3-5), Year 1(Ages 5-6), Year 2(Ages 6-7),Year 3(Ages 7-8) and Year 4(Ages 8-9)
Middle School: Year 5 (Ages 9-10), Year 6 (Ages 10-11), Year 7(Ages 11-12 My Year) Year 8 (Ages 12-13)
High School: Year 9 (Ages 13-14), Year 10 (Ages 14-15), Year 11 (Ages 15-16), Year 12 (Ages 16-17), Year 13 (Ages 17-18), Sixth Form (Ages 18+)
Now for the other part of the country
Primary School is a school of people aged 4-11 and secondary school is 11-16.

Secondly: Our schools are not broken into that much or set on firesometimes there might be the odd splash of graffiti on the wall.

Thirdly: Some people act hard in our school and the high school kids are never scared of us, if we called them something we would probabaaly get a punch in the face.

Fourthly: My school just got a nine new computer lab with nice computers they all work and we got more interactive boards for every classroom shame that the laptops are rubbish but we've had them for a while.

Fitfhly: At my school we have a lot of clubs Running club, art club, radio club, french club, german club and probabaly a few more.

Sixthly: We never have guns brought into school but once there was a knife brought in.

Seventhly: We have head teachers instead of principals and deputy heads instead of vice principals and we have heads of year at my school.

Eighthly: We dont have fountains at my school except drinking ones but we do have a huge field to play what you might call soccer.

Ninethly: We always have soap but never girls with girls in the toilet doing stuff they shouldnt but we have boys and girls together doing really bad stuff.

Tenthly: My school is always very clean and once we got building work done so we got an extra two weeks off in the summer but we only get normally 6 weeks for summer holidays because we get easter and october holidays.

Eleventhly: If behaviour like pushing into lockers and calling names persisted the person would get suspended then expelled if it carried on.

Twelvely: We have a few fights like two a month but ww never get bomb threats

Thirteenthly: We never have drug problems or gang bustups at our schools

Fourteenthly: We get nice proper dinners not a gloop of sticky stuff.

Fifteenthly: Now that i have explained an English school can someone tell em the different grade and what ages you are to be in them.
