****Bump**** Time is getting close
-OK So far we have the 26th around noon for a scavenger hunt? Who's in? We have BBB at 1230.
-Meeting after Trick or Treat at Sonya's? We'll stop by to meet up for a few minutes, 5 kids can crash a party real quick. I will bring something. Just looking forward to meeting up with y'all.
-I am way too excited about this trip, and of course getting to meet some of you guys too. I talk about it more than the kids do. That's bad isn't it? We set up and cleaned the tents last weekend and I should have a pretty good plan for set up this time. Need to get a couple of air mattresses though. The pop-up is staying home , we want to make it to FL without any drama this year.

I know that Nicole and family will be leaving on the 27th, so we can all get together for a visit on the 26th if you like! Maybe we can do a quick geo-cash (gps treasure hunt) for the kids that are there!

36 days and counting!!! (just noted my ticker says 1mo 1wk 1day) Just found out that my best friend from HS will be arriving our last day there and is going to meet up with us in Epcot. We're 500 miles apart now so getting together is hard, just never thought I would have to go to Disney to see her. Started "packing" already, have the tents cleaned, bought 1 new air mattress so far, and started buying the bowls for oatmeal every morning, and putting kids outfits together, at least the ones I know they won't wear here again.
I'll list some dates of get togethers in a couple of weeks, by then plans will be set, I know ours will.

I am so torn in loop suggestions. I know 2000 is "slightly" larger sites and we need that, but 1500 is close to so much more. We liked being by ourselves in Dec in 2000, but did we miss too much being "removed"? I might just have to annoy the troops and ask on a separate thread.

I think the 26th works for us. We arrive on the 19th for two weeks. We only have one night of dinner plans the rest of the time is riding around on the golf cart .

Do any of the adults here dress up for Halloween at Disney? My kids asked me if I'm going to dress up for the MNSSHP when we go and I honestly hadn't thought about it.

I wasn't really going to this year but...our moms of multiples convention is coming up and we are doing a sock hop so I will have a poodle skirt. Just might dress up or go as Lady Marion again. My DH will probably be a pirate again. People go all out for the MNSSHP and then there are those who don't dress up. Whatever way you are comfortable.

We were there MNSSHP Oct 30, 2005 and there was a couple dressed up as Beauty and the Beast. They looked like they just walked off Broadway it was amazing. Saw several people stop them and ask for a picture with them.

I got Haloween shirts - Disney of course. I will be Sally and DH will be mean Mickey. Disney store had them. In fact the manager of the Disney store called me today and said that they were starting a big sale Thur. lots of markdowns and a bounceback coupon.

Sorry to crash your thread but we will be at the Fort for the 1st time (10/27~11/3). We're at the cabins (I know, I know its not real camping). We have 3 boys (7,5 and 5) . I wanted to ask about T&T. Should I plan on lots of kids = lots of treats?? Or do most kids go to the parks and not stay at FW?? It sounds like there is alot to do on Halloween right at the Fort. I'm really looking forward to it.

Welcome TwingleMum! This is our first Halloween at the Fort, but from what everyone has said...there are LOTS of trick or treaters at the Fort. I plan on taking my young kids early and then back to our site to hand out candy. We'll probably take a bowl on the cart with us too.

There are lots of scheduled activities at the Fort on a regular basis (usually during the day), so I can only imagine that there will be lots of Halloween fun to enjoy.

Stop by and say hello! We'll have our Green Mickey head sign on our Mickey lamp post.
