We stayed at the GF concierge level in May and June. In May we were in a 2 bedroom suite with full concierge access and in June we were in the main building. Since the suite was located in Conch Key, we often went to Sugarloaf concierge instead of the main building so I can compare them both. Morning/midday/afternoon offerings are the same in both (typical breakfast foods-fruit, cereal, pastries, etc.; fruits, vegetables, breads and dips between 11 and 2; assorted pastries, finger sandwiches for afternoon tea). The difference between the 2 comes at 5pm. The main building offers liquor between 5-7 and 8-10 and Sugarloaf does not. Also, Sugarloaf does not have desserts from 8-10 like the main building does--food service in Sugarloaf stops at 7pm. The 'dinner' offerings at both varied, but there were always fruits and vegetables, a tray of sliced meats, 2 chafing dishes of hot items (sometimes they changed these throughout the 2 hour period, but typically included things like beef, crabcakes, stuffed mushrooms, chicken), a variety of breads and cheeses, cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, and other snacks that I can't remember. The desserts, however, were my favorite part of the day--about 8 types of pastries, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, liquors, assorted teas, etc. If you're not big on desserts or alcohol, Sugarloaf would be fine, but knowing that those desserts were waiting for me back in the lounge saved me money on dinner cause I never had to order a dessert/coffee. We have only stayed in a regular room at the Poly, but plan to go back in April so hoepfully we can try their concierge then.
