GF vs CR in November 2007?

Hello,
We are traveling to WDW Nov 9-17, 2007 and normally split our visits between 2 hotels (1 in MK area and 1 in Epcot area.) We've always been GF people but for this trip are considering (and therefore reserved) the first 4 days at CR (MK view Tower.)

Now we are considering changing our CR reservations to GF but are concerned about the implications of various renovations we've heard might be happening that time of year at either resort (both CR or GF).

What do you guys think will be the impact of any renovations at either of those 2 resorts at those dates in November? TIA

I would keep your Contemporary reservation because in November 2007 there will be less renovation there then at the Grand Floridian. Plus the Grand Floridian has not announced how the renovations will take place, where as the Contemporary has come out with a schedule which I will post it for you.

August 2007 - Newly renovated Fantasia Shop will re-open.

June 11, 2007 through November 2007 - The Lobby will undergo partitioned refurbishments to update the area's image and decor.

July 2007 through October 2007 - The resort's grounds will undergo partitioned refurbishments to install new landscaping and re-route existing guests paths.

July 30, 2007 through April 2008 - The Food & Fun Center will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as a new table service option, "The Wave". During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.

April 2008 through August 14, 2008 -The Concourse Steak house will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as the new Counter Service location for the resort. During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.

Does anyone have any specifics at this point regarding what is going on at the GF?
