GF to MK in morning?

Can you ride the monorail from GF to MK in the morning say around 8:15 - 8:30? I read on another thread that the monorail is not open till 8:45 from the TTC, is it also closed at the resorts until then? Should we plan on taking the boat to the MK in the morning?

When we were there the monorail started running about an hour before the park opening, we always used the monorail in the morning since the MK was the next stop it was usually faster than the boat.

The Resort Monorail begins service at 7:00am.
Drop offs at the MK begin at 7:30am.
Epcot Monorail begins service at 8:00am.
MK Express Monorail begins service at 8:45am.
