First of all, do we make ADRs? Through whom? The dining line? Or a different place?

Second, we're doing it as a light lunch sorta thing, and I really want to try the chocolate slipper dessert. Can I get it ordered to there? If not, we're having breakfast one morning at 1900 PF. Can I get it there, even if it's breakfast? Do I tell them that when I make the ADR or do I call the GF directly or what?

You can sometimes do a walk-up but it is better to have ressies in case there's something going on. When we went there was a meeting of the Red Hat Society which took up a lot of room. Call the regular ADR line and they can help you.

As to the slipper dessert, can't help you there. You'd probably need to contact the place itself to see if it can be arranged. We just loved their regular pastries and the strawberries and cream were delish and came with our tea service so we never thought of doing a special dessert. Never been to 1900 Park Fare so not sure if you can get it there either.

you can have the slipper dessert delivered to any restaurant in the GF including the tea. I have arranged the slipper for my Step Daughter to be at the end of our tea call Linda @ 407-824-2578 1 month prioir to arrival

Enjoy

I did make an ADR for the Tea Room and am having a mini castle cake delivered to my DH as a thank you for the trip.

IN TWO DAYS!! WOOOOOHOOO!!!

The Tea Room is one of my favorite places to eat/enjoy while we are at Disney!

Definately make ADRs though, the place is small and hours are limited so its easy to get booked up.

what is the chocolate slipper dessert?

It's a slipper made out of chocolate, like Cinderella's. You can either get it at the GF or at CRT. At CRT it's milk (or dark? I think milk) chocolate with berries. At the GF, it's white chocolate, with a milk chocolate heart filled with mouse.

Is the ADR time the same as everywhere else (180 days, I mean)? Or is it different?

We're going in January - can't wait!

I just booked our reservations here for our January trip as well. I am super excited!!! Now, I just need to decide if I want the Mini Castle cake as well? Also, I am wondering if there is any discount for DVC or AP??? Probably not..anyways, still really looking forward to this as well.

Hi Summer,

I have an ADR for the tea in Dec, I made it when I made my other ADRs, I tried for the Monday of our trip but nothing was available for that day so we are going on Friday. Apparently, it is a small room so limited number of ADRs.

Here is picture of slipper that my DD got at CRT in 2006.

Does anyone know how much the mini-castle cake is? I can check the very long cake thread, but I'm a bit intimidated by it!:scared1:

There is a 20% discount for DDE (now Table in Wonderland)

I think the mini castle cake was around 25 or 35 dollars. I got it once for my daughter at the tea. It was great. There were four of us and we each had a piece, we also ate other pastries, and strawberries and cream. I love going to the tea. It is so nice and relaxing. We also ordered the slipper one other time and I think it was 14 dollars, but that was a few years ago.
We are going in January of this year. Me, DH, DS DD and DD's boyfriend(his first time). The setting is so nice. Hope you have a good time.
