Hi,

I have heard about GF sugar loaf concierge for the good and bad on the board.

I am 29 days away from being there.

Has anyone very recently returned from a stay there??

If you have, can you elaborate about it??

Thank you.

I'd like to know more about Sugarloaf also. Anyone been recently??? :)

We are heading to the GF Sugar Loaf soon, too. We have had wonderful response and service from the planning folks there so far!

I'm just curious about what to expect when we get there.
And are there any rooms with views of the monorail?
Can somebody tell us??:D
Thanks!

I've never stayed in Sugarloaf before, but I'm almost positive that the rooms on the marina side would have a view of the monorail. :) The other side would overlook the quiet pool. :)

I'd like a recent review of sugarloaf also! :)

the views are of the marina (you probably can see some of the monorail from certain rooms on that side, and the other side is the quiet pool... as tgrlvspooh said!! :)

have a great time! :)

Laura :)

I was there for a night in late September. We had a ground floor connecting room just down the hall from the lounge, which suited us fine, as we had two strollers, and it was easy to get to and from the room.

The food offerings were great

Morning- there were pastries and muffins

Mid morning- fruit, parma ham and cookies

Lunch- sandwiches and fruit

Mid afternoon- Hot scones, jam, trifle, cookies (all the same as the afternoon tea in the GF main lobby)

Evening- light snacks- stuffed chicken, salad breads (dh knows more than I do on this one).

Drinks- they had pitchers of lemonade, sodas and evian bottled water. Full selection of tea and coffee. The lounge staff approached me when they saw the two kids, to let me know that they had nice cold fresh milk for the bottles so if I needed it to let them know. There are paper cups with lids laid out, so you can take the drinks to go.

I'm not sure about the views- our room backed onto the marina and I think there was a monorail view. The lounge staff couldn't have been more helpful and I just loved the place. It's so nice to just walk out of the sugar loaf lodge and take a stroll down to the boat dock, or around the grounds in general.

You'll have a great time.

Here's a pic of dh and my daughter in the lounge one morning

We'll be there in 43 days:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc ! When I think of everything I have to do before that, I have to wonder what I'm doing Dissing?!?

We were there last January with a marina view and we could see the monorail if you looked sideways toward the lagoon and MK. It's not a close up view.

We loved it there and can hardly wait to go back.
