GF spa, which treatment?

I just received my price list and treatment descriptions from the GF spa. I only have about 1 hour and want the most out of my private time from the family. Can anyone who has had any of the treatments give me info on which they liked, disliked? They all look so good, it's hard to choose!

I have had a facial there... my girls had a massage and we all had manicures and pedicures.....if you have not had a facial before, I think that is a treat.. especially in the heat and sun a hydrating facial is wonderful..

I also had the manicure and pedicure, as did my daughter and she was 5 years old at the time. She and I both loved it!

My DH and I did the couples massage, it was great. I would do the massage again even if he doesn't want to. My DD and I have done the manicure and pedicure. Love that too. I will make another reservation for a manicure and pedicure on our next trip.

Do you have 1 hour to spend on a treatment, or 1 hour in total to spend at the spa? The reason I ask is, if you only have a total of 1 hour , I'd go with a manicure or pedicure. Either treatment time is 40-50 minutes and it's relaxing, without turning you to mush. If you can spend a whole hour for a treatment, followed by 15 minutes to just sit back and relax, then I would choose an aromatherapy facial or aromatherapy massage. Both of these treatments are about 50 minutes also, but you really need some time afterwards to drink some water and just enjoy. I've had both these treatments done and they felt great. The only part I didn't like about the facial, was that they were trying to sell you the products. I just wanted to close my eyes and enjoy it and not necessarily concentrate on what she was telling me about each of the products she was using.

If you have your heart set on a facial and massage, but are tight on time, then go for the stress recovery facial and 25 minute aromatherapy massage (pick an invigorating scent for the massage). Warning though, it's only a sampling and may leave you wanting more!

Last month I had both an aromatherapy massage and a pedicure. I enjoyed them both, but for relaxation, of course I preferred the massage. It was sooo wonderful and quiet in that room. I felt like I was in another world. The pedicure was nice, but I didn't enjoy it as much as that massage. She did do an awesome job though...my toenails are still painted hot pink from that very pedicure.

Ohhh, they all sound wonderful. I think I'm leaning toward the 50 min aromatherapy massage right now. I need to decide if I should only do the 25min and also go with the facial. Decisions, decisions . . . I'd also love the manicure/pedicure, but I don't have enough time this visit. There's always next time!

I don't know what to choose. Time is not an issue for me... but I have exceptionally sensitive skin and have reacted badly to facials before. So I'm thinking just a massage... or a bath.

This trip is our honeymoon, so I definitely want to splurge. FH is semi-interested in the couples massage, but if he's not totally gung-ho, I'm leaning towards the aromatherapy massage. Can anyone rave about it? Should I splurge a little more and get something else instead?

Can anyone share a recommendation? Thanks!!!

You'll never have enough time to really enjoy an aromatherapy massage. In all honesty, with a 25 minute massage they will not do the entire body. They'll concentrate on your shoulders or legs. Just about the time you really relax, it's over.

A pedicure might be a nice option. To me that's very relaxing.

I love getting a facial as well, and that's something you'd have time for.

My husband and I are doing the peaceful nights bath and then the 25 minute swedish massage. I know we will probably want to do more than the 25 minutes but we just want to try the spa for now

I've had a lot of the treatments there, and haven't disliked any of them!

If I had to choose just one though, I think I'd pick the Grand Floridian facial. One of the best facials I've ever had, and I make it a point to have "spa time" most everywhere we go.
