For anyone ho has been to Disneyworld this past month what are some of the best GF snacks your eaten and where did you get them. We will be on the DxDDP next month and have credits galore.

The most commomnly available (almost everywhere--counter services and table services) is the French Meadow brownie. They also make a large chocolate chip cookie but Disney stopped carrying that cookie last year. Some of the restaurants will offer Rice Dream ice cream substitute and some will offer sorbet.

My y-dd loves the GF brownie. Every time we go to WDW she asks for one. This has turned into a must-do/eat thing for her ;) We just spent Memorial Day w/e camping at Fort Wilderness and had a great breakfast at the rest there. The chef was awesome and used his GF-dedicated griddle to make her some GF mickey mouse waffles. She loved them too :) for lunch he made her GF pizza, mac & cheese, and special grilled chicken breast. I LOVE how WDW accommodates my dd's gf needs :)

We just returned from AK Lodge- there was a rather large snack section of dedicated GF pre-packaged snacks there at Mara. I did notice the brownie but didn't peruse everything else. Perhaps you could email WDW Guest com and ask if they have a list of GF snacks and locations where each item is sold- this way you could stock up if you find a location that has the best goodies if some locations are more limited. Hopefully there is a good selection everywhere!---Kathy

I haven't been this past month, but I was just there in February, and you can use your snack credit for Itzakadoozie bars (they are GF and dairy free). I'm not sure how much popcorn corn, but I know that is gluten free too.

Popcorn and Dole whips are my favorite. I'm pretty sure both of those are covered on the dining plan. There's also Mickey bars and frozen bananas.

Not sure they're covered by the DDP, but there's also the Kaki Gori in Japan in Epcot and flavored nuts in various places, though we couldn't find those in Epcot (and was told they are seasonal there), I saw some at MK.

I wrote special diets about the caramel popcorn in the buckets (its probably not covered on the DDP, but FWIW), and they sent me the info on it - it appears to be GF, but they didn't specifically say that it was or wasn't:

I suppose you could contact Kissimmee Popcorn Company to be sure about cross contamination in production.

I avoid anything off a cart that also sells pretzels. I always seem to get a little cross contaminated if I try to get something from them.

A lot of the candies in the UK appear to be GF according to the UK Cadbury site, but I don't know if those are DDP, either (they're $2.50 each plus tax if not).
