GF room rate question? RE: Dormer rooms??

If you want a dormer room, do you just book a GV or LV room and request a dormer room? Or, is it a different rate category? Please help!

I requested a dormer room, just with the garden view. I think there is both. The CM didn't put us there at first, even though she said she had one. Anyway, we unpacked and just decided to stay where we were, in Sago Cay overlooking the marina. Later on, another castmember said he could switch us, but by that time, we decided not to. I peeked into a dormer room, it looked nice, but I did like the large balcony on a regular room better.

I recently stayed in a dormer room and did not like it as much as the other GV or LV rooms that we have stayed in. I prefer the big open balconies, and my ds was bummed as he could not see out like the other balconies.
