We've got a coupon code that will make these all about the same price during the second week of December. We've stayed at AK three times and PoFQ once. It'll be me, DH, and two daughters, 11 and 2. Where would you stay of those three resorts and why?? Thanks so much!!!

My vote is GF. The resort is incredible, especially around Christmas time. GF has the best dining options at a resort, in my opinion. 1 stop from MK on the monorail. Since the construction, there's a lot of hype around Poly right now, and its a nice walk from GF. I think Boardwalk Inn is a little boring, but the fact you can walk to EPCOT from there is a huge plus. I've stayed at all 3 several times (coincidentally same time you will be staying there), and have no complaints for any of them. For most people it all comes down to a personal preference.

Couldn't have said it better myself. GF.

The GF would be my choice as well. Out of the 3 we've only stayed at the Poly and GF and while the Poly is my favorite overall, the GF would win out for me during the holidays. All of the resorts are beautifully decorated, but the GF is just amazing at Christmas time. Good luck.

What are thinking about for dinners and where you want to tour?

For example, If you are going to go to MK 2 to 3 times and also there for dinners, stay at GF. But, if you are only going to go to MK once or twice and will be going to EPCOT a lot for dinner and to HS too, you should stay at BWI.

Out of those 3 options I would choose the GF. I love their holiday decorations. :D

These are three of my favorites!:)

As everyone else has said, at Christmas the GF is the top pick. Just beautiful with a glorious tree and gingerbread house! It is impossible to go wrong when choosing between these three, however.

Enjoy!

The Grand Floridian iiiiissss beauuuuuutiiiiifuuuuuullllll. Great dining options, perfect theming, never waited longer than 20 minutes to get on a bus/boat/monorail... :lovestruc

With kids those ages, I would probably vote for either GF or Poly, whichever decor you prefer, and whatever restaurants look better. Boardwalk would be great if you plan on ending a lot of days at Epcot, but guessing you'll be doing more MK days than Epcot.

My favourite is the Boardwalk followed by the Beach Club and then the GF - mostly due to location and where we spend most of our time (Epcot and HS). DH's favourites are the GF, BC, Boardwalk so we alternate who gets to pick the resort. We got the same code and it's DH's turn so we're doing the GF this time. Since we plan to do California Grill, V&A and Citricos and MVMCP, it will work out location wise, although we also plan to do dining closer in and around Epcot so that would have also worked. But it's not my turn. Originally we were going to use the code for AKL. We like the resort (stayed there once) and thought to do it this time just for a change but it wasn't that much less than the GF for the time we're going to be there (first week December).

would not stay at BW until Disney fixes the parking issues. Now if it included bc - then that would be my choice. gf is a bit too fancy for my taste. Polyn construction should be over by then. So would go with it - now definitely go by and see the decorations at GF not to mention WL, VWL, BC/V, YC, BW, AKL/V, and if you have time FW.

plus the self parking at GF is a LONG walk to the resort.

Definitely GF!! Beautiful lobby, beautiful atmosphere especially at Christmas! Whatever you decide have a great trip!

For the same price I would pick GF because it is on my bucket list. My second choice would be BWI - the location and ability to walk to 2 parks is just my favorite thing. We love the atmosphere and walking on the Boardwalk, the night time entertainment, getting treats at the Bakery or ice creams at Seashore Sweets.
However I loved staying at the Poly, taking the monorail, walking in the AM and looking acroos the lake at MK, and watching Wishes from the beach with a Lapu Lapu in my hand!
Tough choice!

We are going the same time of year but in 2016, and are planning on the Boardwalk. I like the Old Timey look for Christmas. I would also love the GF but doubt I can convince the extended family to spend that $

I think it all depends on the time of year..... I would have to say GF for christmas. I am not a big fan of GF but if its the same price as the POLY I would go for it. The decoration and the feel of the resort would scream christmas to me. I love the POLY but i think I would choose GF over the POLY for the holidays.

TBH I wouldn't base my choice on the decorations, all the deluxe resorts are decorated really well for Christmas, and you can always visit. In fact visiting the resorts is a lovely day away from the crowds and one we always do. What would drive it for me is the location, what park(s) are you going to spend most of your time in, and are you ever likely to get the chance to stay in the GF again, if not I'd go there, at least it's one off the list and for a good price.
