GF on 4TH of July?

will be at the gf for the 4th of july and wanted to know what we can expect w/ mk fw?....is there a good spot for viewing ect...i have never stayed at the gf and we are looking forward to it....any help would be great!...i have booked a lv room...thanks

We were at the GF on July 4th of 2000. We had a marina view and we watched fireworks right from our balcony. The left hand side of the marina is a good viewing spot or you can walk over to the beach at the Polynesian, only a few minutes away and see them perfectly also. When we stayed, it seemed like fireworks were going off in all directions and they lasted a very long time. It was great. We'll be heading back down to the GF for our 4th time in July. It really is beautiful, I hope you enjoy. Just one hint if you haven't been to the parks on 4th of July before, we were told that if we wanted to go in, then we should plan on arriving early as they do sometimes close down when they reach maximum capacity. I took DD and DS early in the morning to Fantasyland, we had lunch at the castle and then went back to GF for a dip in the pool and a relaxing afternoon before the night of fireworks. The park was extremely crowded and obviously a very hot day. This plan worked very well for us.
