GF new floor question

Hello all

I heard that the installation of the GF's new floor has been moved back from June to September. Does anyone have any details on this? I will be there for a once in a lifetime kind of trip from Labor day weekend through the first week in Sept. and would hate to have the trip ruined by floor construction...I just don't want to spend all that money and not have it be worth it.

Nobody knows for sure when it is going to be completed. Even CMs I know that work at the GF are kept in the dark.

The floor is prepped underneath the temp carpet. I was told the marble was going to go in in small sections and it was SUPPOSED to be done with minimal disruption to guests.

It seems like it will be going in later than Sept from what I have heard.

Not that I really know anything, but I would say that they way that Disney operates, I do not really see them closing the whole lobby down. Typically they do alot of work at night too when many guests are not awake to see the behind the scenes action.
