My Wedding is only about two months away, so I really think it's time to make a decision here. I have changed the venue for my dessery party about three or four times. Does anyone have a good comparison of Sago Cay and Whitehall? I know the two are very similar, but I don't know which would make a better dessert party location?

I am pretty sure that keenercam is having her dessert party at Sago Cay. I didn't know this was an option so I am not sure what it is like but Cam could probably answer any questions. I am having my dessert party at the GF marina patio. I will see if I have any pictures to post.

We watched Wishes from the Marina patio 3 or 4 times during our wedding week. It's a great spot. I can't picture where either of the other locations might be - anyone have a map of the GF that we might be able to figure it out from? Is the whitehall room off the end of the convention building?

The marina patio is directly centered in the GF Marina. Sago Cay is a little more private and off to the left of the marina. My FH and I were there over the weekend and went to compare the two. The Marina I think, is the better option, but Sago Cay is much more private and has a perfeectly good view of the castle across the lagoon! I just can't decide, because they are both great options!

My DP will be at the Marina Patio on June 25th - you can PM me after that and I can let you know how it goes.

We are doing our DP at Sago Cay Pointe and visited it a few weekends ago. It is definitely more private, but a smaller area, which is perfect for us. I am not sure of the maximum guests for the marina, but SCP is 70, which is also just right for us. The marina location seemed to be a high traffic area, and I'd think more hotel guests and visitors would feel they should be able to wander through your party to watch from the railing at the marina. SCP is more of a "dead end", so to speak, at the end of SC building, and we felt it might not be too hard to keep strangers from wandering into the area. I'm not sure if any of that helps, but those observations helped us to decide that SCP was what we are looking for. BTW, I don't think you can hear the WISHES music from either location unless you have it "piped in" and it is NOT cheap to do that. You may want to consider that in your planning, as well.

Hi! Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to reserve one of these spots? I'm assuming it's not "roped off" so to speak since people mentioned wandering resort guests. :rotfl2:

I'm trying to decide on the Grand 1 Wishes Cruise for a DP or one of the locations at the GF. I didn't even know about Sago Cay!

Does the Polynesian have any locations for DPs? Also, are the GF locations unavailable to Escape brides? Is there a minimum?
