That's sad. Is there another possible location?
Every time they remove something that made the Disney environment special to replace it with another wallet-opener, I find it harder to justify, bearing in mind what Disney has always sold -
and still sells - as "what make Disney magical".
I know some don't like it when people refer to which changes Walt might, or might not have liked, but
(I'll do it anyway!!!
) and say that exchanging such a large part of the family atmosphere for a bar/alcohol would not have made him happy.
I know things can't stay the same and I do agree he wouldn't have wanted them to, but I do think he'd have wanted the heart of his unique business to be respected.
Plus, doesn't live music encourage guests to spend more?!
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for the lobby orchestra band, but I'm also still crossing them for evening "magic" hours; illuminated nightly parade at MK; a good daytime view across WS lagoon; fewer drunks at Epcot; dog-free cabin loops at FW; an upturn in the quality of food and the return of the DME (or, at least, free overnight resort parking)!
It's hard to cross your fingers that many times!
