Has anyone stayed in a standard room with a king bed at GF. Are they the same size as the rooms with two queen beds. Also, is there a day bed like the ones in the queen rooms. The reason I ask is my 4year old daughter would be better off in a day bed than a queen bed, and my son will be in a crib, so I thought the king bed room would provide more floor room for the crib. Any thoughts, advice, pictures....thanks.

I could be wrong, but as I understand it the only king rooms at the GF are in the suites.

I've stayed there twice, once in a handicapped room, and both times it was two queens and a daybed.

We stayed in room 5441 in Sago Cay. This was a lagoon view dormer room with a king bed and a small sofa (not a day bed) but I don't think a little one would have any problem sleeping on it. This room was not a suite.

well just be aware there are only around 12 king beds in the gardenview and lagoon view rooms. So people rarely get a king bed. The rest of the kings are in suites.

We just got home from our stay at the GF yesterday.
When we first checked in and got up to our room they had mistakenly put us in a king bed room.....we were a family of five.
It was room 9202 in Big Pine Key. There was a daybed(maybe it was a sofa) in the room. Room 9204 was also a king bed room I think. When I went back to the desk they said they have people waiting for these rooms to open up. The room overlooked the courtyard pool. We had booked a standard room.
Our 10 day stay was wonderful.

glad you had a great time Cathy, Hope the CM treated you in a Grand manner ;)

None of the king rooms have daybeds. They have the king bed and a sofa sitting area. They only accommodate 2, plus one child under 3 in a crib.

Another option is to book a king suite, they run for around $900/night. They have a king in the bedroom, and a sleeper in the parlor.

900 dollars makes that queen bed sound great LOL!!!
