GF Garden View Recommendation

We will be staying at GF in early December. It's our first time at this resort. I've always dreamed of staying here and to do so during the X-mas season is an added bonus.

We've booked a garden view and I'd appreciate any suggestions on a building or room location. I have stayed in a dormer room at WL and it was okay (did not like the privacy balcony) but I'm still open to the idea. How easy is it to get a corner room? If you could include what I might expect to see (marina, monorail, etc.) it would be very helpful. I'm just looking for something with a nice view and somewhat close to the main building.

For GV room we always request Sago Cay, marina view. The marina is lovely and Sago Cay is probably the quietest building at GF> It's right next to Gasparillas which has a nice area with tables and chairs to watch the fireworks. Have a wonderful time you will LOVE GF.

We had a nice marina view in Conch Key. We could see part of the lagoon and the monorail in the distance. We could see the MK fireworks from right outside our builidng.

I always request Boca Chica. I love the decor of the rooms and its proximity to the boat dock. Also, our garden view room on the 4th floor of Boca Chica had a gorgeous view of the Main Bldg. which is trimmed in white lights all year long - I LOVED this view! Congratulations on staying at the GF! You will LOVE it To be closest to the Main Bldg. - you might want to request Big Pine Key but personally I like Boca Chica. IMO everything at GF is close enough - no major hikes
