Got a quote for GF, MK facing for 9/29 for 8 nights, 9 days basic park tickets, dining plan for 2A and 2C, no insurance. It came to $4146. I looked online at the rack rate and it's around $4500. Doesn't seem like as drastic of a deal that I am getting from WL (percentage-wise) using the same code (the same "mysterious code" that's being talked about here.

Do they have different discount %, even within deluxe resort level from resort to resort? I know they have different % from like moderate to deluxe.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

When I price it at rack rate on line it shows $5990.50 for 8 nights, 9 day, PH and dining for 2A, 2C.....

OK, Lucincia, you have inspired me!!! :goodvibes

We just switched this AM from the CR Garden View to the Grand Floridian Garden View. It was still almost $400 cheaper than our original rack rate for standard view at the CR (almost $1600 off GF rack rate for 9 nights). I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We really like WL from our stay in 2005 and wanted to go back there. But this discount is just hard to pass up to try somewhere different. The monorail will be of great help with two little kids who just want to go to MK. Have a fun trip!

ITA!!! We have always wanted to try the CR, but I can't turn down a chance to stay at the GF again. I guess we'll do CR next time!

Wait, you said Garden View. Did you use the "forbidden" code? I used the forbidden code and they said the only rooms available starts with Magic Kingdom view.

Yes... maybe MK view was the lowest room available for your dates...:confused3 ... I would try back- that would bring your price down probably another $500 or so (I'm guessing)
