Hi All,

For my upcoming Sugar Loaf experience only 24 days away!!

When I made my ps's with the staff a few weeks ago, one of my requests which I told them I knew was no guarantee was to get a Dormer Room.

My question is, do I email the folks who made my ps's with or fax to a special number for sugar loaf a few days before to kindly request the dormer room??

I just really hate noisy people above me and would love our private balcony.

Thanks.

Did you book with a Travel Agent?? If so they are the only ones who can make any changes to the reservation.

FYI PS = Priority Seating for Restaurants. Resorts have reservatation with "requests" for things such as room type, location, etc.

DO NOT RELY ON SENDING A FAX A FEW DAYS BEFORE! I sent one down and so did my husband about 2 weeks before our trip. We both got confirmations, but they had no record of it when we checked in.

I would fax and call or just call and get someone's name. That way if something happens, you have a name to attach to the request.

By the way, we were in a dormer room in April.. very nice.

Thanks,

I booked the room my self with disney. I do know what ps's are, the concierge staff at sugar loaf made them for me.

I know that the room request is just that a request, no promises.

I'm just trying to find out what others have done so that I increase my chances.

Thanks...............

Have a GREAT TRIP!!!!

Oh please, can you tell me if you had a dormer in sugar loaf concierge?

What view did you have?

Thanks.

They actually don't get your reservation until between midnight & 6AM 4 days before your check-in date, so they would not keep a fax sent two weeks before. Anything like that would either get thrown away or forwarded to CRO/WDTC.

I've faxed before, and had EXCELLENT results (well, at the GF anyway).

:)
