We have had a fabulous dinner at Citricos, and done the obligatory visit with Mary Poppins at Park Fare. How are Victoria & Alberts, and Narcoosee's? Our delegation includes young children. Your comments are appreciated.

We've been to V&A twice. It's an amazing dining experience. More food than I can really eat. If you chose to do it, I'd definitely suggest putting your children in a kid's club. My 11 year old really wanted to go this last time. But I don't think she could have handled 2 hours of eating. Even though she's pretty adventurous with her food, I don't think she would have tried some of the items on the menu just because some of the ingredients are really different. She still wants to go...I told her maybe when she turns 13.

We love Narcoossee's as well as V&A. Narcoossee's may be my DD's favorite dinner spot in WDW (she's not been to V&A). It enjoys a beautiful location right on Seven Seas Lagoon. The menu offers lots of seafood and we've been very happy with our meals. Service is almost always great, too....we had one miss a couple of years ago.

V&A is an exceptional experience but I wouldn't take small children there. The meal is 2.5-3 hours long and the atmosphere is very romantic and subdued. I would follow Noelle's suggestion and let your children enjoy themselves in a kids club if you choose to go to V&A.

The food at Narcoossee's is really wonderful. And you can't beat seeing the MK fireworks during your meal.

I made reservations for Narcoosee's for our dinner before Cirque and the woman at Disney Dining told me to ask for a window seat when we get there (at 5:30) we have never been before, is this something mostly people do to see the fireworks?

We will have left way before that since we have to be at DTD for Cirque by 8:30.

Should we even bother asking for a window seat?

i feel that Narcoosee's is the best resturant in wdw. the food and atmosphere are just wonderful. i love the view of the castle as a backdrop. i also think it's a great spot for kids too. i grew up disney and dining at Narcoosee's. like any disney resturant there is a wondeful kiddie menu plus the kids are entertained by the castle and baylake action. it's a great evening for the whole family to enjoy!

V&A's is a wonderful experience. Narcossee's is delicious - don't bother to ask for a window seat, though. Almost the entire restaurant goes outside onto the veranda to watch the fireworks. Even if you have a window seat, you're only going to see people's rear ends. Go out on the veranda to watch the fireworks - it's a spectacular view.

Several years ago Narcoossee's was open for lunch. One of my favorite things to do was go tot he MK do the stuff i wanted to there and hten hop the resort monrail and eat there for lunch. It was always a great place to eat. Wonderful food atmosphere and service.

The Monsters Inc. picture appears to be from the Disney Studios character meet place across the street from the ABC Commissary.

There is a meet and greet station there identified by a small sign, wait area and a large metal door on a building with the Monsters logo. You actually meet Mike and Sully just inside a building since Mike's suit is very hot and this area is air conditioned.

mjmcca, we loved lunch at Narcoossee's too. It was a must do for us on one of our MK mornings each trip.

Yes, that's where the picture was taken. There's a little sign, as well as some scream/laugh collecting tanks. The door has the Monsters Inc. logo on it. Usually the lines aren't even long, because it's out of the way and not advertised.
