Has anyone ever stayed in a corner room at GF. ( standard view, queen beds, in any lodge building). I've heard that they are considerably larger and with two balconies. Looking for opinions, experiences and hopefully pictures. Also can you please tell me the room numbers if you remember. Thanks.

I LOVE the corner rooms...they are great! We had booked a standard garden view and wanted to switch to a Lagoon View, with a view of the castle. Once we had been there a day or so, my husband had a quiet word with a CM at the front desk. The upgraded our room to not only lagoon view but also a corner room. It was FANTASTIC!! The room was significantly bigger and the two balconies were such a bonus. The only charged us an extra $30.00 a night over Garden view...a real bargain.

I will always try and get a corner room from this point on.

I REQUESTED A CORNER ROOM FOR OUR UPCOMING TRIP. I HOPE WE WILL BE LUCKY AND GET ONE. THEY SOUND WONDERFUL.:p

Are the corner rooms the same rate as standard rooms? SInce they are larger, I can't imagine not having to pay for it! ;)

I loved my dormer room last year, but a corner dormer room would be even better!

We stayed in a corner room last week at the GF. It was room number 9247. This was a Lagoon View room on the second floor of Big Pine Key. We LOVED this room. The room was bigger than I expected and had great views. One balcony had a view of the Magic Kingdom/Castle, the other had a beautiful view of the Polynesian and the Wedding Chapel. (There was a tree that blocked the view of Space Mtn but we had a clear view of the castle and fireworks.) We felt like we could see the whole lagoon. At night we could see three performances of the EWP, fireworks from EPCOT (I think) and a spectacular view of the MK fireworks. This room was the same price as other Lagoon View rooms. My husband asked for a corner room at check-in around 11am and they offered this room or the one at the other end of the hall. He felt that this view was better since the side balcony in the other room would face Boca Chica.

This was our fifth stay at the GF and think this might have had something to do with getting such a great room.

the corner rooms are the same rate as other rooms and when i made my ressies for SEP/OCT the pool view dormer rooms cost more than the castle/ lagoon view rooms by $18 a night . they claim people want to stay on the top floor more but the rooms are half the size . needless to say i have 3 lagoon/ castle view rooms and no dormer rooms this trip.
