GF - coffee pot in the room?

Hi, we are leaving next Saturday for a week at the GF. Our first trip! We have a room at the GF for myself, DH, DD and 2 DS. I haven't been able to find any information about whether coffee is provided in the room?

Any information on what the ammenities in the room are would be appreciated!

We will be renting a refrigerator.

Gf is a great choice for your first visit. Let me warn you, you will be spoiled!! We were there in Nov. and the resort is just beautiful. You are going to love it! As for the ammenities in the room, I don't remember coffee, but they do offer room service and you can get a coffee maker in your room for an additional charge. There is a mini bar in the room as well as a safe, hair dryer, iron and board and some basic toiletries like soap, hand cream, shampoo. In the morning you can get a cup of coffee at Gasparillas, you can buy a refillable mug there and re use it for your coffee. If you have any other questions, I'd love to help!

I have stayed at the GF many times and never have found a coffeemaker in my room or suite. I don't drink coffee, so that is not a big deal to me (my husband, however, might have a different response to this).

If you go to the Walt Disney World website, you can find all kinds of info on any of their resorts. I am including the info on the GF's standard rooms here for you:

Guest Rooms:

These rooms feature two queen-size beds, one day bed, table and chairs, ceiling fan, vanity area with two sinks, and bath. Most Guest Rooms offer private balcony. Many Guest Rooms feature garden or water views. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for Guests with disabilities are available.

Guest Room amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, phone in bath area, robes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and minibar. A limited number of refrigerators and microwaves are available on request.

Aren't there coffee makers in the GF concierge rooms? I seem to remember reading that.

I've stayed at the GF twice, and didn't have a coffee maker in my room either time. Once was a concierge room, once was a regular room. Like with many WDW resorts, you might be able to ge tone from housekeeping, I do'nt know for sure.

If it's that important, why not just buy a 4 cup Mr. Coffee from Wal-Mart of rabout $12. Leave it in the packaging and pack it in your suitcase. I did this a few weeks ago, it traveled to Las Vegas and back in a soft sided rolling duffle bag with no problem! I padded around the box with clothes and stuff.
