We are at the GF right now and they suddenly closed the GF cafe - everything is blocked including the windows. Any idea what happened? It seemed sudden but it could be general maintenance. I asked a cast member and they were mum. Just curious if anyone knows. Thanks!

Did you ask on the Restaurants board? Someone there might know.

Shows online that they are closed until Sunday, not sure if this was a planned maintenance or not.

We are staying at GF now as well, 1900 Park Faire is also closed. They were sending everyone with reservations to Citricos

Oooohhh... if I was taking my daughter to 1900 Park Faire to have dinner with Cinderella, Citricos would NOT be a good substitute. I know that they can't help something that "pops up" but I would NOT be happy!

We were informed yesterday that GF cafe was closed. We had an ADR for tonight. We were given a number to call to help modify the reservation. They gave us the central dining reservation number and got NO help at all. Just told to pick a place and they could check if there was availability. Asked to speak to guest services and the CM's attitude was ...."oh well, it was unexpected." I explained that my daughter has celiac disease and we do a lot of research before going. Her answer was that there are lots of good restaurants in Disney. Ummm.....thanks for your help and concern. Really disappointing and ended up at Citricos which is more money but it's our last night here. The lack of concern or offer of any help, not to mention the very un-disneylike attitude was very upsetting and extremely maddening.
