GF Cafe Dinner

Has anyone eaten dinner here lately? How is the food & is dress casual? It would be myself & 2 ds 11 & 9. Thanks!

We ate in the GFC twice last month and it was fantastic. We arrived in theme park casual, and had early dinners around 5.45ish. The restaurant was very quiet at this time and so there was no wait. Fellow diners ranged from casual attire to slightly more formal, but it was a complete mix. Both times I enjoyed the halibut with a beautiful creamy sauce, and the chocolate fondue which was great. The service was perfect. Every meal looked good, and it provided a wonderful rest and dinner experience before returning to the MK once our meal was done.

We ate there for the 1st time last week. Food was very good. My mom said her pork tendorloin was better than CG's! The key lime dessert was a disppointment. The dress is casual so no need to stress.

We ate here back in july. First off, we love this place for breakfast. We go every time we are in WDW. This time we needed somewhere to eat dinner just my mom, dad, me and my niece. Our other family members were off doing something else. My mom, dad and I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak wasn't too good and the shrimp were the tiniest things ever. They overcooked all the steaks and they were very thin steaks. The soup my dad had was really good. ANd my niece loved her minicheeseburger, mini hotdog, and mac-n-cheese. Plus she got the dirt and worms. Dessert was excellent. We had the key lime pie which was really good.

We will probably try it again but order something different and see how that goes. It's a nice restaurant through.

They were actually closed for dinner for a few years and when they reopened last year we made sure to make 2 different reservations there - one of them for dinner. We just love the restaurant. So charming and clean and relaxing. What I like about it is you can either order a meal or just a cheeseburger or even a BLT. Plus that fondue was just delicious!

Very comfortable and you must try the spinach dip!
