GF Cafe and the Wave???

I just got ressies for these two places and i dont know much about them. My group is 4 AD, we are going to start planing a wedding for my DN. So my DN and her DF will have one of the ressies and my DS and i will have the other. Im trying to see what one is best for them, i looked at the menus and both look good. We wanted to do something special for them( still not sure what )
Any ideas TIA

We've been to The Wave twice - service was exceptional, food was terrific. We really like the atmosphere there and it has a nice contemporary feel to it. I have not been to GF Cafe so I cannot make a comparison. We have another ADR for The Wave for our upcoming trip, so I would suggest that it would be a special and memorable choice.

We have not been to the Wave, but been to GF Cafe, and there was a wedding party there as well. The food at GF Cafe was excellent. I would go back for the French Onion Soup (sorry carmelized onion soup) alone - it was the best I ever had.

We also enjoyed The Wave and will be there again for our upcoming September trip. We have a dinner reservation for our son's birthday.

We liked the food and the service. There was a mix of people - families like us and adult diners without kids. Tables were spaced enough apart so nobody was bothered by their neighbors. I especially liked the desserts, each of us had a flight of mini desserts - they were delicious.

I have not been to the GF Cafe so can not compare.

Ooh, I forgot about the desserts...we each got a different flight and enjoyed all six of them. That was a nice touch to the end of the meal.

We have eaten at The Wave four times over our last two trips and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The service was great and the food was amazing. In my opinion, it is hard to go wrong here.

I have been to both. I like the GF Cafe much better. The food is wonderful and so is the service. It is so bright and airy in there. You can see out the windows and the outer buildings of the GF.

We we went to The Wave last year, the service was soooo slow and my food was not good. The restaurant does not have any windows. The tones are brown, yellow, red, etc. Not dark, but not bright either.

Therefore, the GF has my vote.

My experiences:

Ate at GF Cafe last year and LOVED it! The food was excellent and the service was wonderful! Will go back.
Ate at the Wave this March and was extremely disappointed. Service was very very slow and food was not that great. Will probably not go back.
