Geyser point at WL

I’ve heard that too. On FB. Would be nice if they got their act together at GP re breakfast. We had a decent one there a few weeks ago. The view was just wonderful! As I understand it, the menu at RF was changed when they opened Gp. So now no breakfast at Geyser forces you back to RF or WC.

Wantthe view of bay lake at GP? Settle for lunch I guess. Would have liked the breakfast to have continued there though.

Looking online at the Disney website, there is no breakfast menu any more.

No more breakfast at GP. GP lacks a true identity which is the fault of whomever dreamed up the concept. It's not a true TS, yet you have to wait to be seated. It has high end QS type food, but it's not truly a QS. When they first opened, breakfast there was a great option over RF since the latter's menu was reduced and quality took a nose dive, as well. For a brief time, GP had two styles of eggs benedict and other notable, tasty items. Then it shrank to a few typical items before becoming "check with us daily to see what we offer," to finally closing for breakfast altogether. They've also reduced their lunch/dinner menu. So, WL now has two bars, one QS with mediocre food and limited offerings, one TS, and one soon to be closed for an indeterminate length of time Signature. . .which when it reopens will likely no longer be a Signature. This is my home resort, and I'm increasingly angered by the lack of foresight and planning for the Lodge by its keepers.

Well darn! We are returning to BRV in October after a lovely stay there in April. We liked Geyser Point a lot and were thinking about trying the breakfast there.

OK - MUST love this. GP is moving toward it's true identity... a BADLY conceived, BADLY executed waste of prime land.
The decay accelerates. The decay actually helps. Sometimes? A problem needs to get WORSE, in order to fix it.

Sooner or later, the question is going to arise - Why is this fake "pool Bar", fake "Restaurant", fake "meeting hall" even here? What are We, or Disney, gaining from this piece of junk?

WDW - you have a General Manager (maybe?). Please? Start addressing the four disasters surrounding the FOUR WL Restaurants.

Lol. I get where you're coming from. GP is a total cluster right now, and AP is in limbo as far as the public is concerned. Totally questionable management at WL as of late. I'm hoping that management has a great plan that they just haven't shared yet, as WL is our favorite resort.

Geyser Point was great last year, we kept going back for more. Two weeks ago we went for breakfast. They told us no more breakfast. Eventually we went for dinner, and was just confusion. They now seat you, but with half the tables open it was a 20 minute wait. We decided to just get the food at the take out window and take it back to the room. Then the menu was different at the window than if you ordered from inside. The burger was cool - lukewarm and was dried out like it was reheated. The bison burger I liked so much last year was they same way, and it was just a sloppy mess. Geyser Point was the 'miss' of the trip. Very disappointed.
