Do any of you get Gevalia coffee delivered? There's a special right now for $14.95 (including tax and delivery) that includes the 8 cup coffee maker with carafe, 2 coffee mugs, and two .5 pounds bags of coffee, you choose out of about 25 varieties. After you get the initial delivery, they send you four .5 pound bags in any variety (flavors, choice of 40 different ones) you want, and they deliver as often as every 6 weeks, or as infrequently as every 6 months,or any frequency between that, the choice is yours. And you can completely cancel delivery at any time.

I've had Gevalia coffee at a friend's house and it was really good, but I never had the chance to ask her how she liked the delivery of it.

Do any of you have experience and/or comments or opinions on Gevalia coffee? Thanks! :)

I stopped getting it delivered. loved the ocffee, but it was a tad bit expensive for what you were getting.

I like mine plain, black and cheep

I did it a long time ago. I did not drink enough to warrant the delivery like it was then. Are they flexible with the deliveries now? You know, are there different amounts/delivery time or stretching the deliveries out longer now? The coffee is absolutely wonderful and it sounds like even a better thing now than when I did it with the different flavors offered.

I would not hesitate doing it again if they delivered less or over a longer time period between since I am the only coffee drinker in our family and I only drink two cups/day. Good coffee.

I've been a loyal customer since about 1992.

It's a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it. I tried going back once to Maxwell House and I couldn't stand the acidity. I really think Gevalia is a better quality.

Right now I'm hooked on their Chocolate Raspberry. It's not too fruity tasting or too chocolatey, it's just right.

Whenever I make coffee for friends or relatives they always comment on how good the coffee is.

Give it a try, if you don't like it, stop the shipments.

I have it delivered and love it! It's the best coffee I've ever had. A couple years ago I was at a friend's house and her mom made a pot of coffee. It was the best! But I don't know what flavor of Gevalia it was! :( I'm thrilled with the Irish Creme. Haven't tried the other variety yet.

You can have as little as 1 pound of coffee delivered, and as infrequently as every 6 months. But they said they recommend that people get 2 pounds per delivery because the shipping charges are the same. You can stretch the delivery time out from anywhere between 6 weeks and 6 months.

DH and I don't drink a lot of coffee, but when we do, we like GOOD coffee, and we've both liked Gevalia when we've had it at friends' houses....so...we're going to give it a try and order the introductory package. There's no obligation to buy anything else, once you get that initial package.

Same here. I used to get it a few years ago. I wasn't overly impressed with it (it was good, but not great, IMHO). There are a couple of independent coffee houses in my area when I can get all sorts of really good coffees, in a wide variety of flavors, for less than I was paying for Gevalia.

My 2 cents. I used to be a faithful Gevalia drinker. They couldn't get it to me fast enough. Then I began drinking Kenya AA coffee (which I had originally tasted through Gevalia), and found I could get it locally. (It was only seasonal through Gevalia at the time) I stopped my subscription. When we moved, I couln't find any decent coffee to save my life, An believe me it was killing me. So back to Gevalia I go. Much more flexible in terms of shipping and most of their seasonal stuff was now year round. Well, I was disappointed. I was literally going back to Ann Arbor for my coffee and many other foods which had become staples in my family's diet that I could not get here. I'm happy to say that I can find better coffee here and most of my groceries, But Gevalia is no longer on my list. But hey, if you like it, do it. They are a decent company and I never had any problems with delivery.

Keep the Faith!

My Dh LOVES their coffee. We get it every 6 weeks. DH drinks coffee all day long though. We've not had any problems with them.

Thanks for your replies, everyone! They do seem to have flexible ordering policies, which is important to me because I didn't want to have to get deliveries every 6 weeks.

cruisnfamily, here's a link: http://www.gevalia.com/gevalia/cont...nid=BJMQU4D3H40XMCTGL0ESGXA?_requestid=207169

With this offer, you get the coffee maker with carafe (you choose the color), 2 Gevalia coffee mugs (again you get to choose the color), and 2 half-pound bags of coffee, for $14.95 including shipping and handling. There is no obligation to buy anything else. Enjoy! :)
