I know a lot get cool boxes and fill them with ice, but would you be allowed to get your own mini Fridge and plug it in or would they not allow this.

I believe that there is already a mini fridge in the room. but if not I doubt you can bring your own :confused3 sorry

I know there is one in the room, but they are charging you Approx $15 a day if you want to use it, would work out cheaper to buy one , and give it to someone when i leave

You can ask that the mini bar be emptied, and you pay the $15 a day to use it.

If you buy a mini fridge and bring it, that would also work, but a mini fridge is about $100, so you'd probably break even on the price, unless you're staying for a week or more.

We bring 2 coolers with us, and I keep filling them with ice at the hotel. A stocked cooler will actually last a couple days once everything inside is cold. I dump the water out once a day, and add 1 bucket of ice.

A styrophome cooler costs about $7 in the beer isle of Publix. I'd buy two of them, then when you check out leave them near the ice machines.

I also posted a separate thread on this but question but perhaps I'll post it here as well - is the mini-fridge that comes in the room enough to fit a small container of milk and a flat package of cold cuts? Will they charge you if you add something to the full mini bar?

Thanks melanie will look into cooler prices.
Robiva we are staying 21 nights, so either buy an electric cooler , mini fridge or the styrophome , better than paying $15 a day.

Have you been in touch with the manager? I would drop him a nice email to introduce myself and bring to his attention that you are a Loews first member that will be staying on property for 21 days. that is not the norm. It would not hurt to ask for a discount on the parking and fridge for the duration of your stay! :) It also sets yourself up for a meet and greet at check-in.:thumbsup2

Hi Fan2CSkr, emailed him earlier, will let you know if i get a reply.
If you don`t ask you don`t get, they can only say no.
