Getting "Unavailable" Ressies

Hi -

In case anybody didn't know this, ( I didn't!).....

The CM at DTC told me to call first thing in the AM to try to get any unavailable blocks of time or room types or rates, since during the night, deposits not received are automatically deleted from the computer, making them "available" again!

Sounds almost as bad as setting up autodial for Cindy's Breakfast...

AAh... the things we do!

I'm trying to get back to WL for a surprise short hop the end of October. If "worse comes to worse" - I booked POR already! Not too shabby! I am so grateful just to be able to go at all!

Belive it or not, we got into Cindy's without a reservation. I showed up at the door and asked if there had been any no shows. CM asked "are your girls RIGHT here?" I said "No, but I can get them here in a big hurry." I ran to them and we hurried back. Got a table right at the window and had a wonderful meal.

It doesn't hurt to ask.
