Getting Uber from Care Care Center

I am contemplating renting a car at MCO and then dropping it off at the Car Care Center. We will not need the rental for the last few days of the trip because we will be staying onsite at Universal. Between the shorter rental and not paying parking at the Universal hotel, we will save about $210.

My question is this: If I drop off the rental at the Car Care Center, can I take Uber from the Center to USO, and then again from USO to the airport? Does either Disney or MCO have any rules against doing so? The Uber site was able to generate fare estimates, but I don't know if that means they can definitely make the trip.

I'm pretty sure that Uber is banned from MCO (not that that would necessarily stop them.)

You can take Uber from WDW property to Uni (we did this in January), but I don't think you can take them to the airport.

I *believe* that Uber is prohibited from picking people up at the airport, but they are allowed to drop off there. MCO is still a destination you can get a fare estimate for.

This is my understanding as well, but if anyone has had a contrary experience I'd love to hear it.

Since you are looking at the CCC you're looking at National or Alamo, yes? Have you priced out dropping it at the Four Points Sheraton across from Wet and Wild? It's actually walkable back to universal, or it's a cheap cab to your resort or the main parking structure for the parks.

Bumbershoot - I know this is:offtopic: but I love your profile picture. I dragged DH to Universal last fall to do the Harry Potter thing. We spent two Florida afternoon rainstorms at Duff Brewery, eating tacos from the taco stand and drinking Duff beer. It was awesome.

That sounds like a good day. :)
I need to take a better picture of the Duff Tervis mug; with the board changeover it looks too fuzzy now.

This is very interesting. I had not thought of that at all! I will check into it, and I thank you for the tip!
