If you think you're going to USF or SWF for more than 1 day, the rental car is your best choice. If it was just a there/back thing, then the shuttle from happy limo would work. Mears is slightly higher because they're "in" with Disney. A round trip for a party of 3 or 4 will average about $60. With the rental car, you can explore I-drive.

Believe it or not, I-4 has been pretty good the last few times I've been up. We know the back road directions, but someone said there are cops with radar guns on them, so forget that.

Payless transport also do hiresv and seem to be the cheapest on the net:jester:

I t also depends on how many people you are travelling with. If it's just you one of the shuttles may make sense. I like having a rental car since it's not too expensive in Orlando.

But - if you're only going for a day (and especially if its two or more of you) a cab is the easiest and quickest. My wife and I went from a Disney Resort - they front desk called, we had a cab in 2 minutes and were at Universal in about 20 minutes. Much faster than a shuttle. If I remember right the total cost each way was just under $20. Even if its a few bucks more than a shuttle it saves ALOT of time over that method.
